Project Description A marine biologist is stranded on a tropical island somewhere off the coast of the Florida Keys. Your goal as junior professors, is to help the biologist survive on the island using her limited amount of supplies saved from the ship and the natural resources on the island. You will solve the problems in your lab at school and send your solutions via wikispace to the biologist.
Your group will select a different Web 2.0 tool to create products that showcase your groups' solutions to each problem.
Job Descriptions
Project Manager: manage all aspects of project completion, keep track of group progress on Project Team Work Plan , ask clarifying questions of Lab Facilitators (teachers);
Tech director: assist group in selection of technology tools to use, learn how to use the tools, teach group members use of the tools; post products to wiki
Materials Manager: identify and gather all materials for group work and investigations, clean-up
Content Checker: prepare all group members for summits, check progress on individual "I can learnings"
